Keep It In The Pink! If you’ve played the game a few times and haven’t managed to improve, here’s a tip that’ll have you earning big bucks in no time. Instead of using the left and right arrows to direct your shots, you can simply use the Thrust-o-meter. When you hit the space bar early (i.e. above the white line) your shot will veer right. And when you hit the space bar late (i.e. below the white line) your shot will veer left. Just make sure you’re always in the pink bits!

The game has certainly come a long way since the first prototype was created way back in 1979. We were recently rummaging around in the attic and managed to find this screen shot of the original version. Unfortunately, the general public never got to see it. We were about to release it when a little game called Space Invaders burst on to the market and stole our thunder.
